Brent Cunningham commenced his career in 1995 with CB Richard Ellis and specialized in retailer representation. While at CBRE he represented CVS Pharmacy, Office Depot, Smart & Final, BevMo, Wells Fargo and McDonalds to name a few. During his tenure at CBRE he was a consistent top producer and was involved in excess of 300 transactions.
He founded Highland Partners Corp in 2008 with a simple mission statement: “work with the best people in the industry, provide the highest level of service for the client, and make sure you have fun along the way.” Brent continues to integrate this philosophy into his daily practice and into the Highland brand.
Brent attended Washington State University where he obtained a degree in Business with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance, Investment and Development.
Mike Grannis commenced his career in 2001 with CB Richard Ellis and specialized in retail investment sales. While at CBRE he grew a platform dedicated to investment sales, development/consulting and assisted clients in portfolio maximization.
Mike joined Highland Partners Corp in 2010. He continues to grow Highland’s investment/development platform with the same principles of maximizing the client’s investment goals. Since joining Highland, Mike has been involved in closing in excess of $500 million in investment sales.
Mike attended the University of the Pacific where he obtained a degree in Business with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance, Investment and Development.
Maryl Binney commenced her career in 2002 with Epsteen & Associates where she successfully created the landlord representation division. She grew the division to represent over 5 million square feet of projects that range from neighborhood/community centers to ground up mixed-use developments in dense urban markets to life-style centers and retail storefront streets.
Maryl joined Highland Partners Corp in 2012 where she continues to focus on landlord representation. Current and former clients include Costco Wholesale corporation outparcel pads, Lowe’s Excess Property/ Disposition, DJM with the disposition of Pier 1 and Toys R Us boxes in the Southern CA market, Champion Development, Gerding Edlen Development, and Black Equities.
Maryl attended San Diego State University where she obtained a BA in Communications.
Ralph Cimmarusti joined Highland Partners Corp in 2014 after spending over ten years in the real estate industry. He commenced his career in 2003 with Trammell Crow Company and later went on to CBRE, Inc. where he specialized in retailer representation. While at CBRE he worked with Dunkin Donuts, The Palm Restaurant, Morton’s the Steakhouse, The Original Roadhouse Grill and was also responsible for the successful rollout of Chase Bank and Five Guys Burgers and Fries to name a few. During his tenure at CBRE he was a consistent top producer and was involved in excess of 250 transactions.
Ralph joins Highland with a comprehensive understanding of retailer needs throughout the Southern California market.
Ralph attended the University of San Francisco where he obtained a degree in Religious Studies.
Greg Spounias joined Highland Partners Corp in 2016 after spending over 25 long years inside the real estate industry holding many positions. He commenced his career in 1991 with Business Real Estate Brokerage specialized in retail tenant & Landlord representation. He soon leveraged his experience into the corporate real estate sector by taking positions with 7-Eleven Inc, Wendy’s International, Circle K – Alimentation Coush Tard & Longs Drugs Inc. developing new strategic locations throughout Southern California. Greg returned to the SoCal Brokerage community with Retail Insite Brokerage, focusing on retail tenant representation for tenants such as Kroger Companies, 7-Eleven Inc., Einstein Brothers Bagels & AutoZone Inc.
Greg has joined Highland Partners with a profound and up-close understanding of retail tenant’s processes, their real estate needs, and strategic plan Implementation throughout the Southern California market.
Greg attended San Diego State University where he obtained a degree in communications.
Scott Siegel joined Highland Partners Corp in 2018 after spending over 14 years in the real estate industry. His career began in 2004 with CBRE where he focused on both tenant and landlord representation in Ventura County. Since then, his area of expertise has grown to a broader stretch of the “101 Corridor” from the San Fernando Valley north throughout the Central Coast. Scott has represented major retailers including ALDI, Dunkin Donuts, O’Reilly Auto Parts, AT&T, CareNow Urgent Care, Pacific Dental Services and Wells Fargo Bank. His years working with institutional level landlords, privately held shopping centers owners, and retailers with needs ranging from infill to large scale roll-outs along with his unique grasp of a broad and diverse trade area has distinguished Scott as a highly regarded advisor to his clients. During his tenure at CBRE he was a consistent top producer in his region and now joins Highland Partners Corp as a valuable link to their coverage of Southern California.

Katie commenced her career in 2004 with CB Richard Ellis and spent seven years working with the top retail team in the Western US. Katie has worked with such clients as Target, CVS Pharmacy, Chase Bank, Sears Home Appliance, Famous Footwear and Fallas Discount Stores.
Katie joined Highland Partners Corp in 2012. She focuses on transaction management as well as coordinating marketing efforts for retailer accounts and investment clients.
Katie attended the University of Southern California where she obtained a degree in Policy Planning and Development with an emphasis in Urban Planning and Development.
